The images allegedly feature Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, leading fans to believe he has joined director Aditya Dhar’s high-octane spy universe.

While some suggest the images could be sophisticated AI-generated deepfakes or morphed fan art, others are convinced that Salman Khan has filmed a secret cameo. Reports suggest that if the rumours are true, Salman may portray a character known as Bade Sahab. Speculation indicates that this character is a formidable underworld don, with many fans drawing parallels to the real-life figure Dawood Ibrahim. The viral photos depict Salman in a commanding pose on a balcony, flanked by Arjun Rampal (reprising his role as Major Iqbal) and Sanjay Dutt (as SP Aslam). What To Expect From Dhurandhar: The Revenge?

The sequel’s teaser has already set a dark and intriguing tone, focusing on the evolution of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, into the deep-cover operative known as Hamza. The film promises to delve into his complex backstory, which serves as the emotional heart of this instalment. The film is set for a massive theatrical clash on 19 March 2026, where it will go head-to-head with the Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups.

Salman Khan’s Work Front

Even if the Dhurandhar 2 rumours remain unverified, Salman Khan has a significant year ahead. He is currently preparing for the release of Battle of Galwan, a gritty war drama based on the true events of the 2020 border standoff. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under the Salman Khan Films banner, the movie also stars Chitrangda Singh. Battle of Galwan is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on 17 April 2026, just one month after the suspected Dhurandhar 2 cameo.
