Jaat Box Office Collection Day 1: Jaat is not Gadar 2, which disappointed Sunny Deol, who was expecting for another big hit. The action movie made Rs 9.50 crore on its first day of release, which is a good amount, but it is nothing in comparison to the actor'd last. Gadar 2 brought in Rs 40 crore on its first day in India in 2023.

Jaat earned Rs 9.5 crore with an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 14.28% on Thursday. Chennai and Jaipur had the best numbers. The movie's ensemble cast and dramatic action sequences were expected to draw large audiences, but the initial findings suggest a more nuanced response.

Jaat vs Gadar 2 Box Office

Jaat was hailed as Sunny Deol's response to recent pan-India action blockbusters like Jawan and Sikandar, and it was financed by Mythri Movie Makers, a company well-known for its blockbuster smashes. The movie, which had a budget of Rs 100 crore, was shown on almost 5,500 screens throughout India, as per OneIndia report.

With Rs 40 crore on its first day and Rs 691 crore for its whole run, Gadar 2 was a huge hit back in 2023.
