Jadoo Is Back! Hrithik Roshan Expresses Delight Over Koi Mil Gaya Re-Release

Koi Mil Gaya, featuring the stellar performances of Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta, is all set to commemorate its 20th anniversary. Helmed by Rakesh Roshan, this film has undeniably woven itself into a special place within the hearts of its enthusiastic fan base. In honor of this remarkable milestone, the makers have chosen to breathe new life into the cinematic gem, announcing its re-release across 30 cities on August 4th. The film initially graced theaters on August 8, 2003, enthralling audiences with its captivating science-fiction narrative that managed to resonate with both the younger and older generations alike. Currently, the excitement among fans has reached a peak as the film is re-released.

Hrithik turned to Instagram to express his joy, sharing a video to convey his happiness about it. He said, "I am very excited after 20 years. This film that I gave so much of myself to is releasing again in theaters. This sounds absolutely crazy to me. Didn't even know that was possible and I knew it was possible they can, it feels like a release of a new film. So this is going to be a lot of fun. PVR has been incredible. They are re-releasing the film in many theaters, please do enjoy this film." 

He added, "I hope you enjoy it. I will still say that it has aged pretty, pretty well. Although this film I could have done much, much better, but it is still a very, very dear film. And of course, with your family to enjoy and all the fun and the entertainment, I think it will be great."

For the uninitiated, the first film in the franchise was ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, which hit the screens in 2003, followed by the release of ‘Krrish’ in 2006, and ‘Krrish 3’ in 2013. The film garnered favorable critical acclaim, with much of the commendation focused on the stellar performances of the cast.
