Rajinikanth’s upcoming film 'Jailer' is touted as one of the highly-anticipated films of the year 2023. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, buzz surrounding Jailer is quite high. The film also stars Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles.

Recently, makers unveiled the much-awaited trailer of 'Jailer', which garnered around 14 M views on Youtube. The advance booking of Rajinikath’s upcoming film has already started and it has recorde a historic start. Bengaluru shows begin as early as six in the morning, with multiplex seats costing between Rs 800 and Rs 1400.

According to rumours, Rajinikanth has already earned 110 crores for the movie as payment. The movie reportedly has a 225 crore budget overall. According to a report by Venky Reviews, the movie's advance sales for its USA debut are likewise strong, earning $401,220 with 17,919 tickets sold. The movie debuts on August 10.

About Jailer

The movie, which was given the working title 'Thalaivar 169' because it was Rajinikanth's 169th film, was formally announced in February 2022. The official title of 'Jailer' was revealed in June. The principal photography commenced in Chennai in August 2022 and was completed in June 2023. Vijay Kartik Kannan and R. Nirmal handled the cinematography, while Anirudh Ravichander created the soundtrack.

The countdown for 'Jailer' has already started. On Saturday, Sun Pictures wrote on Twitter, "Superstar - Lalettan Yarellam indha combo paaka waiting? 5 days to go for #Jailer storm in theatres! #JailerFromAug10."
