Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' is one of the highest anticipated films of 2023. The film is all set to hit the big screens on August 10 and also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, and Priyanka Mohan in pivotal roles. Ahead of 'Jailer's  release, fans of Rajinikanth are offering special prayers at Madurai's Thiruparankundram Amman Temple. On Tuesday, fans performed special worship to the temple deity and offered a unique penance Man Soru for the success of the film.

According to a report in ANI, one of Rajinikanth's fans said, "I have been a Rajini fan for 40 years. From Rajini's Padayappa till today I have been doing various prayers for the success of Rajini's film. Today I am praying that Rajini's 169th film Jailer will be successful."

Another fan said, "On behalf of Madurai district, we prayed for the success of Rajini's film jailer. Rajini is trying to make his fans good way. At the audio launch, Rajini told his fans not to drink and accordingly, we have taken a pledge not to drink."

'Jailer' is touted to be an action-packed film and is produced by the production house Sun Pictures. The makers of 'Jailer', recently unveiled the official trailer of the film and wrote, "Meet Tiger Muthuvel PandianThe much awaited #JailerShowcase is out now."

In the trailer, Rajinikanth's character Muthuvel Pandian aka 'Tiger' was seen in two different avatars. The actor can be seen essaying the role of a police officer, whereas he also can be seen fighting with goons and holding swords and guns in the attire of a simple man.
