Jailer: Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up for his upcoming much-anticipated film Jailer. Directed by Nelson, Jailer has quite a buzz in the Bollywood as well as the Tollywood industry. The film is an important movie in director Nelson's career, who gained prominence in the Tamil film industry with successful films like ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ and ‘Doctor’. Unfortunately, his film ‘Beast’, starring Thalapathy Vijay, received poor reviews from both audiences and critics.

About Jailer

The movie, which was given the working title 'Thalaivar 169' because it was Rajinikanth's 169th film, was formally announced in February 2022. The official title of 'Jailer' was revealed in June. The principal photography commenced in Chennai in August 2022 and was completed in June 2023. Vijay Kartik Kannan and R. Nirmal handled the cinematography, while Anirudh Ravichander created the soundtrack.

Jailer: Advance Booking

The advance booking of Rajinikath’s upcoming film has already started and it has recorde a historic start. Bengaluru shows begin as early as six in the morning, with multiplex seats costing between Rs 800 and Rs 1400.

According to rumours, Rajinikanth has already earned 110 crores for the movie as payment. The movie reportedly has a 225 crore budget overall. According to a report by Venky Reviews, the movie's advance sales for its USA debut are likewise strong, earning $401,220 with 17,919 tickets sold. The movie debuts on August 10.
