Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR's latest song from Devara, titled Daavudi, has fans buzzing with excitement. What makes Janhvi's performance even more remarkable is that she filmed the song just three days after being discharged from the hospital.
In July, Janhvi was hospitalized due to food poisoning but recovered quickly. Despite her recent health scare, Janhvi brought her energy and dedication to the set, impressing everyone with her transformation into a mass heroine for her first major pan-India film. According to News18, “Janhvi shot the song just days after her hospital discharge, and her dedication shines throughout the video.”
The song, which Janhvi shared on her Instagram, has been met with enthusiastic responses. "Here’s the #Daavudi Video Song to keep you on track for the Blast on the Big Screens," Janhvi captioned her post. The lively number features Janhvi and Jr NTR dancing together, creating a visual treat that fans can't stop talking about. Previously, the film's first song, Chuttamalle, featuring the duo, was also a hit among fans. Additionally, on Saif Ali Khan's birthday, the makers revealed the first look of his character, Bhaira, in an intense forest sequence. Saif's character is said to be sharp and powerful, adding to the anticipation for the film.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara will be released in two parts. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film is set to hit the screens on September 27, 2024, in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
