Janhvi Kapoor is one of the rising stars of Bollywood and is all set to showcase her acting chops in South Cinema as well. It can be said that the actress is following in the footsteps of her late mother and legendary actress Sridevi, who worked in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi language films. Janhvi is all set to make her Telugu debut opposite Jr. NTR with much much-anticipated action drama Devara: Part 1. Not only that, she will be also seen with RC16 alongside Ram Charan. 

Now as per reports by Telugu 360, the makers of Nani33 want to cast Janhvi in the film. However, no official confirmation was made on the same. Notably, this will be the third Telugu movie of the actress. Renowned director Srikanth Odela will mark his second collaboration with Telugu superstar Nani with this film after Dasara. Their first collaborated movie delved into a town that depends on coal mining but the lives of three childhood friends got troubled as they got into a fight with the son of the village headman. The movie starred Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Shamna Kasim, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani and Raghu Babu in key roles. 

On the other hand, Janhvi was last seen in Mr and Mrs Mahi. The sports-romance drama delves into the lives of a married couple, who both share a love for cricket. However, the husband chose to train his wife as a cricketer by leaving her profession as a doctor.  It also features Rajkummar Rao, Zarina Wahab, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, Arjit Taneja, Abhishek Banerjee, Purnendu Bhattacharya, Abhilash Chaudhary, Naman Arora, Shashie Verma and Yamini Das in pivotal roles. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the movie was released in theatres on 31st May. The acclaimed movie worked moderately at the box office.
