Janhvi Kapoor Wants To Go Back On Jr NTR's Movie Devara: Part 1's Sets

Filming for Koratala Siva's 'Devara: Part 1,' starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, is underway in Goa. A video of RRR actor shooting near the beach has recently emerged online. Janhvi took to Instagram to provide a glimpse, announcing the completion of her shooting schedule. Produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna under the banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the movie stars NT Rama Rao Jr. in the lead role, along with Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain.

Janhvi recently posted a sunset picture taken in Goa, expressing her eagerness to return to the sets of 'Devara.' She captioned the image, saying, "Can’t wait to come back and be #Thangam again. #Devara." In the movie, Janhvi portrays the character of Thangam, a village belle, and her appearance in traditional langa vonis has garnered attention.

About Devara

Judging by the glimpses and posters of 'Devara,' the movie appears to be set at sea, showcasing Jr NTR in a fresh avatar. Scheduled for release on October 10. Initially planned for an April 5 release, the movie's premiere was rescheduled to Dasara. A recent photo shared by the team depicted Jr NTR filming for the movie, generating excitement among fans. However, a recent incident has caused a buzz as a fan-captured video from the sets has gone viral. In this footage, Jr NTR is seen deeply engrossed in his character, clad in all-black attire, shooting a scene on the beach.

Despite being shot from a distance, the clip offers a glimpse of the actor's dedication and the picturesque setting of the film's shoot. While the leaked video doesn't disclose much about the storyline, it confirms speculations that a significant part of the film will unfold near the sea, consistent with the promotional materials released thus far.

The Devara team is currently stationed in Goa to shoot some pivotal sequences, including a song sequence. The filming of the movie began in 2023 and has predominantly occurred in specially built sets in Hyderabad and Goa. While the majority of filming wrapped up by December, a few crucial scenes and songs remain pending. Devara marks the Telugu cinema debut of both Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, heightening the anticipation surrounding the project.

Ther actress is set to appear alongside Rajkummar Rao in 'Mr & Mrs Mahi,' directed by Sharan Sharma, slated for release this year. Furthermore, she will feature in 'Ulajh' alongside Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaiah.
