Janhvi Kapoor's rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, is often seen ignoring negative comments about his rumoured relationship. Recently, he didn't hold himself back and gave a fitting reply to a user for his caste comment on his Diwali post last year. Shikhar dropped some adorable photos of his pet and Janhvi from their 2024 Diwali celebrations on social media. His post was not well received by some netizens who trolled him based on his caste.
Shikhar Pahariya shared a screenshot of his Diwali post with a user derogatory comment on his Instagram story. A user commented 'Lekin tu toh Dalit hai." This comment didn't well with Shikhar. He penned a message, expressing his disappointment that people still hold such 'backward mindsets' in 2025. His post read, "It's honestly pathetic that in 2025, there are still people like you with such a small, backward mindset."
He added, "Diwali is a festival of light, progress, and unity-concepts that are clearly beyond your limited intellect. India's strength has always been in its diversity and inclusivity, something you clearly fail to grasp. Maybe instead of spreading ignorance, you should focus on educating yourself, because right now, the only thing truly 'untouchable' here is your level of thinking."
Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar are often spotted together at parties or film screenings. Neither of them has confirmed or denied the rumours about their relationship. Several reports suggest that the rumoured couple's relationship started before Janhvi's Bollywood debut but due to some reason, they faced a brief rough patch in between their bond. Lately, their appearance together and the Devara actress's Instagram feed also feature photos of her Shikhu.
Shikhar Pahariya is the grandson of former Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. Recently, his brother Veer Pahariya made his acting debut alongside Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan in the movie Sky Force.
