Aadar Jain tied the knot with Alekha Advani in a dreamy star-studded wedding last month. His wedding was talk-of-the-town as the whole Kapoor Khandaan was present and added chaar chand to the celebration. Beyond the grand celebrations, Aadar's remark about doing ‘tim epass’ for four years before meeting Alekha grabbed the whole spotlight. During his pre-wedding festivities speech for his fiancee, he referred his previous relationships as 'time pass', a statement that did not sit well with many netizens. Many speculated his comment as a hint at his past relationship with actress Tara Sutaria. Amid this buzz, Aadar has finally broken his silence on this matter. He said his words were misquoted and clarified that he had not said four years but 20 years.
Aadar Jain in an interview with The Times of India opened up about how his words were misinterpreted and also called them false narratives. He stated, "There are so many false narratives, false assumptions, but no fact-checkers. Unfortunately, what happens is when people make up stories and say certain things, the people who get affected are the people involved and their families. In this scenario, from day one, there's been so many things written. Out of respect, everyone has been silent about it. People then take the liberty to say what they want. It's unfair for her (pointing towards Alekha) and her family, me and my family, her (directing at Tara) and her family. Obviously, there's no truth to any of it."

Aadar added by stating he would not think about someone else on his big day when he is getting married. "Whatever's been written, there is no truth behind any of it. They misconstrued what I said and took 10 seconds of it. And then people form their own opinions about it. People have made it out to be something else and directed it towards someone else. My parents always taught me to respect my past, my present and now my future. So that is how we have been brought up and we never meant to direct it towards anyone. I would not think of anyone else when I'm getting married. It's unfortunate what happened. But there's no truth behind any of it," he stated.
Alekha Advani On Tara Sutaria Aware About Their Long Friendship
Alekha also called the rumours about Aadar's Timepass statement baseless. Explaining that she and Aadar have been lifelong friends, the viral narrative around them is unfair. She said, " It became like this whole other narrative and a whole other thing which was not really fair or nice". Emphasizing that Tara knew about their friendship, Alekha added, "Even she (Tara) knows that we (Aadar and I) have been friends for so long. This whole story is baseless". Adding to her statement, Aadar said, "Things don't work out for a reason. That doesn't mean you turn out and start saying things about people".
Aadar Jain's Viral Timepass Remark
A video of Aadar from his mehndi ceremony with Alekha went viral, featuring his speech expressing love for her. In the clip, he was heard saying, "I have always loved her and I have always wanted to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through timepass. It was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream. I love you, and it was worth the wait. It's a secret, I have always loved her. I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I'm with you, baby."
Aadar and Alekha got married on February 21 in the presence of their family and friends.
