January 12- Tollywood Movies Lineup: On January 12, 2024, which is the Friday just before the Pongal/Sankranthi holidays, cinemas in Tamil Nadu are set to showcase at least six new movies, including two in Tamil. According to a report in moviecrow.com, as per the state regulations, the first shows in movie theaters across Tamil Nadu can commence only at 9 AM, and theaters are permitted to run a maximum of four shows per day unless it falls on a weekend or a government holiday.

On January 12, 2024, three films—namely, Dhanush's ‘Captain Miller’, Sivakarthikeyan's ‘Ayalaan’, and Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Guntur Kaaram’ (Telugu)—are scheduled to have their first day first show (FDFS) starting at 9 AM.

This stellar lineup promises a cinematic extravaganza for audiences in Tamil Nadu, with movies spanning various genres and languages, ensuring a delightful start to the festive season.

The three additional releases scheduled for January 12, namely, ‘Mission: Chapter 1’ featuring Arun Vijay, the bilingual ‘Merry Christmas’ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, and the mythological film ‘Hanuman’ in Telugu, are anticipated to kick off their initial screenings at the preferred timing of 11 AM, as per the convenience of theater owners. This scheduling allows for a well-organized spacing of four shows throughout the day, encompassing morning, matinee, and evening sessions, ensuring an optimal viewing experience for the audience.
