Jasmine Bhasin has been recovering from the corneal damage that had occurred due to an eye accident. The actress recently opened up about the pain and discomfort that she experienced throughout this time. She shared that she had to take sleeping pills as there was no painkillers for this condition. Jasmine called it a difficult time for her. She even said that she lost her appetite due to her pain. However, now she stated that things are back to normal again.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Jasmine said “I am so relieved because I cannot explain the pain I was in. I was living in discomfort from July 17 till Sunday last week. I had bad pain. To sleep at night, the doctor had prescribed sleeping pills as there are no painkillers for this condition. It used to be difficult for me. And the recovery would only happen at night because my eyes would be shut.”

“Because of the pain, I had lost my appetite, but it’s back and I am enjoying my food again. I will enjoy my regular routine, though I have to take it easy with my right eye. I am relieved I can start working out, completing my meetings. I have a hectic schedule of travel and shoots coming up, so I want to be fit and fine. Hopefully, I will have a week or 10 days to recover fully,” she added.

Jasmine took to Instagram today and shared the reason behind her corneal damage. She wrote, “So I saw lots of of people coming out with there own scary and incorrect versions of what exactly happened with me during an eye accident . Also lots of of people are now petrified of using contact lenses . Guys I have been using lenses for 20 years and this is the first time an accident happened with me . Here is @drmehtahimanshu @vissioneye who were with me in this journey and helped me heal. Thank you so much doc and your complete team for being so warm and positive !!”
