Jasmine Bhasin, popular for her role in the TV show Dil Se Dil Tak, recently suffered from corneal damage after wearing contact lenses for an event. However, the actress has now shared a positive health update, announcing that she is out of the danger zone. On July 17, Jasmine attended an event in Delhi, where she experienced severe pain after wearing contact lenses. Despite the discomfort, she fulfilled her work commitment before seeking medical attention. Speaking with Times of India, Jasmine recounted, “I was getting ready for an event when my eyes started hurting after I wore the lenses. The pain gradually worsened, but I decided to attend the event first. My team helped me manage by wearing sunglasses, but by the end, I couldn’t see anything.”
Later that night, Jasmine consulted an eye specialist who diagnosed her with corneal damage and bandaged her eyes. She then returned to Mumbai for further treatment.
In a recent Instagram Story, Jasmine shared a happy selfie, thanking the doctors who treated her. She wrote, “Finally free from eye patch and out of danger zone,” expressing her gratitude for the medical care she received. She also shared another update with a picture of herself wearing big sunglasses, captioned, "Better now, recovering. Thank you for your love and blessings."

Jasmine described her recovery process as painful and challenging. “The doctors told me that I should recover in the next four to five days, but till then, I need to take good care of my eyes. It’s not easy because I can’t see, and I am struggling to even sleep due to the pain,” she shared. Despite the ordeal, she was fortunate not to have to postpone any of her work commitments.
Jasmine Bhasin is well-known for her roles as Twinkle Taneja in Tashan-e-Ishq (2015-16) and Teni Bhanushali in Dil Se Dil Tak (2017-18). She has also made her mark in reality TV, competing in Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made in India and Bigg Boss 14.
