Jawan Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan’s latest venture ‘Jawan’ is headed for another milestone. The film hit theatres on September 7 and is inching close to enter the Rs 350 Crore club in India. ‘Jawan’ is helmed by Atlee and also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The film was supposed to hit theatres in June 2023, however it severely got delayed and marked its smashing presence in September 2023. The film has already shattered almost all the initial box office records for a Hindi-origin film and continues to do so.
‘Jawan’ has crossed the Rs 600 Crore mark globally. On Day 1, the film minted Rs 74.50 Crore across all languages in India. It then went on to witness the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema and earned Rs 129.06 Crore worldwide. According to Sacnilk.com, ‘Jawan’ raked Rs 26.50 Crore in India on Day 6. The total collection of the film stands at Rs 345.58 Crore. Meanwhile, ‘Jawan’ had an overall 26.28 percent occupancy on September 11.

Shah Rukh Khan’s film has become the fastest Hindi-origin film to enter the Rs 300 Crore club surpassing the records of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Gadar 2.’ The film breached this mark on Day 6, whereas ‘Pathaan’ crossed the mark on Day 7, and ‘Gadar 2’ on Day 8.

‘Jawan’ was released worldwide in theatres on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film also features Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The film is a commercial action entertainer and features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role.
