Jawan Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is creating havoc at the box office and marks Shah Rukh Khan’s second venture in 2023, after ‘Pathaan.’ The film also marks Nayanthara’s debut in Bollywood, and also features Vijay Sethupathi in lead role. ‘Jawan’ marks King Khan’s biggest outing of the year, in which he essays the role of the ‘Chief’ of a fierce and fearless girl gang. The film is helmed by Atlee and also features Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, and Sanjita Bhattacharya in pivotal roles.

Talking about the box office collection of the film, ‘Jawan’ earned Rs 12.90 Crore in India on Day 13, taking the total domestic collection of the film to be around Rs 507.88 Crore. The film will soon cross the Rs 550 Crore mark in India. Meanwhile, talking about the worldwide collection, the film has already crossed Rs 800 Crore, and collected Rs 883.68 Crore in just 13 days. The film is now inching closer towards Rs 1000 Crore at the global box office.

‘Jawan’ hit theatres on September 7 and is inspired by the popular Spanish web series, ‘Money Heist.’ As in the series, a criminal mastermind is called out by the name of professor, similarly, in ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh Khan’s character is addressed as ‘Chief’ by a bunch of skilled women with unique abilities.

The high-octane action thriller revolves around the story of a father-son at its core. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in an extended cameo appearance. The film is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, and is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma. The film marks the Bollywood debut of music composer Anirudh Ravichander.
