Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is creating havoc at the box office and has already been declared a blockbuster in the theatres. The film marks Shah Rukh Khan’s second venture in 2023, after ‘Pathaan’, and Nayanthara’s Bollywood debut. ‘Jawan’ is helmed by Atlee and also features Vijay Setupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, and Sanjita Bhattacharya in pivotal roles. ‘Jawan’ marks King Khan’s second-biggest outing of the year, in which he essays the role of the ‘Chief’ of a fierce and fearless girl gang.

Post the release of the film in theatres on September 7, several fans observed that some scenes and the plotline of the film is inspired from the popular Spanish web series ‘Money Heist.’ In the series, a criminal mastermind who goes by the name of ‘Professor’ leads the team of eight skilled members with unique abilities.

Although the team of ‘Jawan’ has rubbished the speculations, fans found some of the scenes similar to ‘Money Heist.’ They are listed below:

The usage of a special mask

‘Money Heist’ is known because of the characters wearing a special mask. In ‘Jawan’ Shah Rukh Khan’s character wears a special bandage mask and later on asks the passengers of a metro train to wear the same and leave.

Creation of the heist and inclusion of a special ops team leaded by a lady officer

In ‘Money Heist’, as the professor asks for the ransom money from the Spanish police, the team is led by a lady officer, who later on joins the heist as their own member. Similarly, in ‘Jawan’, Nayanthara stars as the lady officer dealing with Shah Rukh Khan, but ends up joining his team.

When Shah Rukh Khan’s character deals with Sanjay Dutt in the film and reveals the voting machines, he first reveals two machines in a dramatic manner in the hands of her daughter. The same scene is witnessed with Denver’s character, during a big revelation planned by the master.

Over a period in ‘Money Heist’ we see as things become complicated, the professor likely changes his looks from time to time in order to hide his identity. Shah Rukh Khan’s Aazad character also does the same with his multiple looks during his heist process, however, later on reveals his original face in the end of the film.

Capturing and torturing the lead actor

In the fifth episode of ‘Money Heist’, the Professor is captured and tortured, however he is untied as the officer goes into labour. In ‘Jawan’, after successfully carrying two heists, Shah Rukh Khan’s character is captured and tortured in the same manner, however is saved by his father, also essayed by Shah Rukh Khan. The actor has dual role in the film.
