Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release ‘Jawan’ has shattered several records at the box office. The movie’s growing popularity has led to a significant increase in pirated content, with both movie excerpts and full releases being distributed illegally on several social media platforms. Red Chillies Entertainment, Inc. has taken severe disciplinary action against anyone who shares the videos or uploads them on websites like WhatsApp in order to address this issue.

The production company has recruited several anti-piracy organizations to actively search down people and organizations, who are then reported to authorities for criminal prosecution for engaging in piracy. In order to stop people from engaging in piracy, the production company has filed a criminal complaint with Inspector Amar Patil of the Santacruz West criminal Station.

According to a source close to the production house, "We have already tracked down pirated accounts run by individuals across various platforms, criminal and civil action is being initiated against them for releasing pirated content of the film Jawan. Piracy is a huge issue faced by the film industry at large and undermines the hard work of thousands of people associated with the film. Such acts of illegally recording and leaking, amounts to cheating, theft, and infringement/violation of intellectual property”.

For the unversed, the production company has been given permission by the Delhi High Court to pursue legal action against pirated and leaked versions of the movie.
