The movie 'Jawan,' featuring the illustrious Shah Rukh Khan, has proven to be an unstoppable force at the box office. This directorial work by Atlee not only marked the much-anticipated reunion of the beloved 'Om Shanti Om' pair on the silver screen but also featured Deepika Padukone in an extended cameo, a role of considerable significance. Deepika's portrayal earned her an outpouring of adoration from fans and critics alike. In a recent interview, the talented actress talked about working with SRK. 

In an interview with The Week, Deepika said, "We are each other's lucky charm. But honestly, we are beyond luck. We have a sense of ownership over each other... I am one of the few people he is vulnerable with. There is so much trust and respect, and I think that luck is just the cherry on the top."

She added, "I’ve never been fascinated by numbers whether it was maths in school or the numbers of Pathaan. I was just happy that cinemas had come alive again, that people had come alive again. I was really grateful for that."

The actress further went to say, "I wanted to be a part of 83 because I wanted it to be an ode to women who stand behind their husbands' glory. I watched my mother do it. ibis was my homage to wives who make sacrifices to support their husbands' careers. Other than that, any special appearance for Shah Rukh Khan, I am there. Same with Rohit Shetty."

For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have previously collaborated in multiple successful films like 'Om Shanti Om,' 'Happy New Year,' 'Chennai Express,' and 'Pathaan.' Their cinematic collaborations consistently resulted in box office successes, highlighting their potent on-screen chemistry and popularity among audiences.

Meanwhile, the Atlee directorial features a remarkable cast, including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. 'Jawan' is a mainstream entertainer featuring SRK in dual roles. The action-thriller is accessible in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
