Jigarthanda DoubleX OTT Release Date: Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah teamed up for the action comedy film 'Jigarthanda DoubleX', which received an amazing response from the audience and was a hit at the box office as well. Set in 1975, the movie revolves around a filmmaker and a gangster, who team up to make a Western film. The audience had a lot of expectations from the film due to the success of its previous instalment 'Jigarthanda'. The OTT release date 'Jigarthanda Double X' has now officially been announced after much await.

Jigarthanda DoubleX OTT Release Date:

'Jigarthanda DoubleX' will release on Netflix on December 8.

Announcing the OTT release date of the film, the official X page of Netflix India South wrote in the caption, "Roll-camera-action! Indha Pandyaa Blockbuster paaka ellarum vaanga! Jigarthanda DoubleX is coming to Netflix on 8 December in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi! Coming soon in English."

Talking about 'Jigarthanda DoubleX', director Karthik Subbaraj revealed the cast and crew shot the film at exotic locations. He said, "The film is a creatively satisfying experience for all of us. We shot 'Jigarthanda DoubleX' in some of the most exotic locations. I am sure we are going to present a very exciting experience to the audience. I sincerely thank my actors, technicians, and all others who supported this huge project."

Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the movie is produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and S. Kathiresan under the banners of Stone Bench Films and Five Star Creations. The music of the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, whereas, cinematography is handled by S Thirunavukkarasu. Shafique Mohamed Ali handled the editing department.

The first instalment 'Jigarthanda' starred Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Lakshmi Menon, Karunakaran and Guru Somasundaram in the lead roles. The movie also won National Film Awards for Best Supporting Actor and Best Editing.
