Jigra Release Date Out: Alia Bhatt will soon return to theatres with her next movie titled 'Jigra'. Not much has been revealed about the plot of 'Jigra', but it is said to be a story about a brother-sister duo. The movie was earlier scheduled to release in September 2024 but has now been postponed to October this year. 'Jigra' also marks Alia Bhatt's second film as a producer under her production house Eternal Sunshine Productions

Jigra Release Date:

While speaking at a Forbes event, Alia talked about signing 'Jigra' a few months after giving birth to her daughter Raha. She said, "At the time I signed Jigra, it was just after I had given birth, a couple of months, like 4 months, so I was feeling very protective. Something about me was feeling… like I was just in Tiger’s mode wanting to protect my cub. So Jigra is all about protecting your loved ones."

The movie also stars 'The Archies' actor Vedang Raina and both of them have finally wrapped up shooting for 'Jigra'. Earlier, announcing the film, Alia wrote, "Presenting #Jigra, directed by the extremely talented @vasanbala and produced by @dharmamovies & @eternalsunshineproduction. From debuting in a Dharma production to now producing a film with them, in many ways, it feels like coming full circle from where I started. Every day is a different day… exciting, challenging (and a little scary)… not just as an actor but also as a producer as we bring this film to life, and I CANNOT wait to share more as we move forward. On the work front, Alia was last in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. She will collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the second time for 'Love & War' and will be seen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
