John Wick Chapter 4 has finally hit the theatres and has been getting a good response from all over the world. The movie has a huge fan following in India as well and its hype was clear by the good advance bookings in Indian theatres.

John Wick Chapter 4 had a good opening day in India and collected around Rs 8 crores. Meanwhile, according to the website Sacnilk, the movie collected around Rs 9.50 crores. The numbers are expected to go up on Sunday.

John Wick Chapter 4 stars Keanu Reeves in the titular role along with Donnie Yen, Laurence Fishburne and Ian McShane. It is directed by Chad Stahelski and the script was written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch.

Keanu Reeves plays the role of a professional hitman and assassin who has gained a legendary reputation for his set of skills in the film. Whereas, Donnie Yen plays the role of Caine, who is a blind assassin and an old friend of John Wick.

Recently, John Wick actor Lance Reddick passed away at the age of 60. Giving tribute to the late actor, the official social media of John Wick wrote, "A kindhearted soul, a wonderful human, and a true friend. Be seeing you, Lance Reddick." The previous instalments of the John Wick franchise have also been commercially and critically successful.

John Wick Chapter 4 is directed by Chad Stahelski and the script was written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. John Wick is a neo-noir action-thriller franchise and revolves around a former hitman who is forced back into the criminal underworld he had abandoned.

The makers of the John Wick franchise have also decided to make a spin-off of John Wick, titled Ballerina. Meanwhile, John Wick: Chapter 5 is also under development.
