Joker Folie à Deux OTT Release: Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga feature in Joker Folie à Deux, the 2019 follow-up to the DC film Joker. Nevertheless, one of the most eagerly awaited movies, which was expected to storm box office, failed to make it halfway to the end.
Joker: Folie à Deux debuted at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in 2024. It was released in theaters around the United States on October 4, 2024. Despite having a budget of $190–200 million, the movie only made $207.5 million worldwide. The critics weren't impressed either. Notwithstanding the excitement, Joker 2 was unable to duplicate its predecessor's box office triumph.

Joker: Folie à Deux is a legal drama jukebox musical that follows Joker (2019) and has Joaquin Phoenix as Joker and Lady Gaga as Harley Lee Quinzel. Joker 2 has been characterised as a blend of romance, tragedy, and music, with Arthur embracing the melody that characterizes his tumultuous life and exploring love. The dynamic between Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix as she plays Harley Quinn gives the sequel depth.
About Joker: Folie à Deux Characters
Joaquin Phoenix portrays Arthur Fleck/Joker, a mentally ill criminal with a nihilistic outlook. His image as a clown is influenced by his past as a poor party clown and aspiring stand-up comic. Phillips said that although the movie will go deeper into Arthur's mind, he will not become the "Clown Prince of Crime," because his Joker character is an unwanted symbol to those who provide him the love he has always wanted.
Lady Gaga portrays Harley "Lee" Quinzel, a prisoner at Arkham State Hospital who falls in love with Arthur after developing a toxic affection on him. The new Lee, according to Phillips, is more immoral, cunning, and grounded.
