'Devara' has become one of the most awaited Telugu movies of 2024 and has created a lot of hype among the fans. Jr NTR will return to the big screen after two years and has finally wrapped up shooting for 'Devara'. The actor penned a sweet note for the team of 'Devara' and expressed his excitement over the movie. The movie also marks the debut of Janhvi Kapoor in Telugu cinema.

Announcing the film wrap, Jr NTR wrote on X, "Just wrapped my final shot for Devara Part 1. What a wonderful journey it has been. I will miss the ocean of love and the incredible team. Can’t wait for everyone to sail into the world crafted by Siva on the 27th of September."

'Devara' also stars Saif Ali Khan as the main antagonist. Talking about working in 'Devara', he earlier told IANS, "It's a very cool role and I'm working hard to make sure I deliver more than what is expected of me. My director Koratala Siva is a passionate artist with infectious energy and a great vision. He narrated to me for three hours and I was spellbound, emotionally involved all the way."

Janhvi, at the India Today Conclave 2023, expressed her excitement about working on this film. "I’m literally counting down the days. I message the director every day. Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I recently re-watched 'RRR'. The magnitude of charisma that he has. To be able to share screen space with him will be one of the biggest joys of my life," she said.

She added, "I manifested it. I prayed every day for it. In every interview, I used to say that I wanted to work with Jr NTR sir. This film might be the first time this technique worked for me. I do believe that what you put in the universe is what you attract. I have learned to be always positive and do my work. That is the moral of the story."

'Devara' will release in theatres worldwide on September 27, 2024.
