About Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai: Cast and Plot
Directed by Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan, Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai is the latest addition to movies exploring queer love. The film delves into the sensitive topic of societal acceptance, prejudice, and the personal traumas experienced by same-sex couples in India. The story follows Sam (played by Lijomol), who has a deep conversation with her mother, Lakshmi (Rohini Molleti), about her love life. When the day arrives, Lakshmi is shocked to learn that her daughter loves a woman named Nandini (played by Anusha Prabhu).
