Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Jailer' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film will be released on July 6 and has recently unveiled the first single 'Kaavaalaa' featuring Tamannaah Bhatia in a sizzling avatar.
While Tamannaah Bhatia showcased her killer moves in the song, Rajinikanth's brief appearance in the song raised everyone's eyebrows and left the netizens on Twitter divided. 'Kaavaalaa' is known as an 'item song' in popular terms. In the video, Rajinikanth age 72 was seen matching steps with Tamannaah Bhatia, age 33.

The film is directed and written by Nelson and is touted to be an action-comedy featuring Rajinikanth as Muthuvel Pandian. The film also features extended cameo appearances of superstar Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar with Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan in pivotal roles.
'Jailer' will hit theaters on August 11, facing a box office clash with Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar.' 'Jailer' is produced by Sun Pictures, whereas the music score of the film is given by Anirudh Ranvichander.
