Saqib Saleem shared his excitement about the film: "When I read the script, I felt like it's extremely funny on paper and the character was a simple guy from a village, something I’ve never played before. After reading the script, I met Aditya. He was very confident and knew exactly what he wanted to do. I wouldn’t call it a template horror comedy. The folklore of the ghosts makes it different from other films. You may think that lots of horror comedies are there but when you watch, you'll find the differences."
