As the excitement builds for the highly anticipated sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ the makers have unveiled a captivating new poster featuring the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. With just three days remaining until the trailer release, this reveal has fans buzzing with anticipation.
In the newly released poster, Amitabh Bachchan takes on the role of Ashwatthama, a character shrouded in intrigue and mystique. The actor looks battle-ready, gripping his Astra and adorned with a divine gem on his forehead. Set against a dramatic battlefield backdrop with fallen soldiers and a life-sized vehicle behind him, the poster teases a powerful performance. The caption adds to the suspense, stating, “His wait is ending… 3 days to go for #Kalki2898AD Trailer, Out on June 10th.”
Adding to the excitement, Amitabh Bachchan’s Ashwatthama was recently introduced in a grand fashion with a monumental projection at Nemawar, Narmada Ghat in Madhya Pradesh. This location was chosen for its historical significance, as it is believed that Ashwatthama still walks the grounds of Narmada. This unveiling has further heightened fans’ enthusiasm for the film and Amitabh Bachchan’s portrayal of this iconic character.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ boasts an ensemble cast, including Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in key roles. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, this multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle is set to hit the screens on June 27, 2024. The film promises a thrilling blend of futuristic dystopia and mythological elements.
The trailer launch event is set to take place in Mumbai on June 9, with most of the star cast and crew expected to attend. The trailer will be unveiled during this grand event. In addition, the makers are planning a series of promotional events, including ones in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh, to build momentum for the movie.
Promotional activities for ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ are in full swing, with the makers gifting merchandise inspired by Prabhas’ character Bhairava and Bujji to the children of stars. Kannada star Yash has reportedly received some of this exclusive merchandise for his kids. The effort to generate interest in the movie is clear, with online fans even speculating that it could be India’s answer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
