Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 11: Nag Ashwin's dystopian sci-fi film, Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, has crossed the ₹500 crore mark in India, according to sacnilk. Not just this, worldwide it landed into 1000 crore club. The movie continues to shatter box office records with its phenomenal worldwide run. During its second weekend, Kalki 2898 AD showcased remarkable strength, reaching this monumental milestone on its second Sunday.

Kalki 2898 AD has shown impressive performance at the box office over its first 10 days, earning an estimated ₹465.70 crore net in India. On its eleventh day, the film earned around ₹41.3 crore net for all languages. The sci-fi epic saw a boost in business over the weekend, its second since release.

The movie opened strongly on June 27 with earnings of ₹95.3 crore. By the end of its first week, it had accumulated ₹414.85 crore. On Day 10, Kalki 2898 AD registered ₹34.15 crore. Although it experienced a slight dip during the week, it regained momentum over the weekend. As per sacnilk, the film's total earnings in India reached ₹507 crore by its 11th day. The movie had an overall 65.90% occupancy for Telugu showings on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

The film's earnings were notably contributed by different languages: ₹242.85 crore from the Telugu market, ₹30.1 crore from the Tamil market, ₹211.9 crore from the Hindi market, ₹3.95 crore from the Kannada market, and ₹18.2 crore from the Malayalam market.

Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's film had made a remarkable entry into Indian cinema history as the third highest opener, amassing a staggering ₹191 crore globally on its debut day. Leading the list is 'RRR' with ₹223 crore, followed by 'Baahubali 2,' which grossed over ₹217 crore on its opening day. Within just five days of its worldwide release, Kalki 2898 AD has joined the prestigious ₹600 crore club, underscoring its robust box office performance.

Described as a fusion of the Hindu epic Mahabharata and science fiction, this grand-scale 3D production is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. Set in the dystopian future of 2898 AD, the narrative revolves around a select group's quest to protect the unborn child, Kalki, from SUM-80, an experimental subject. In an interview with Variety, director Nag Ashwin provided insights into the upcoming sequel of Kalki 2898 AD. He mentioned that although they have already completed 25 to 30 days of shooting, many significant action sequences are yet to be filmed. The sequel aims to address all unresolved storylines, with a particular emphasis on the epic confrontation between Yaskin, Karna, and Ashwatthama.
