Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Collection Day 6: Nag Ashwin's dystopian science-fiction spectacle made headlines on its opening day with the highest-ever domestic debut. Released on June 27 across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English languages, the film stars luminaries such as Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Despite experiencing a significant decline from its weekend earnings, the film achieved a stellar performance on its first Monday and Tuesday, setting new records. Kalki 2898 AD collected Rs 371 crore net by day 6, marking an 18.5% reduction in its Tuesday earnings.

The film has shown impressive performance in its initial five days at the box office, accumulating an estimated Rs 343.15 crore in net earnings across India. Despite continues drop, on its sixth day, the film maintained a steady pace, adding approximately Rs 27.85 crore to its total collections for all languages.
Breaking down the language-wise contributions, the film grossed a total of Rs 371 crore, with Telugu leading at Rs 193.2 crore, followed by Hindi at Rs 142 crore, Tamil at Rs 21 crore, Malayalam at Rs 12.4 crore, and Kannada at Rs 2.4 crore, according to Sacnilk reports. Additionally, the film achieved an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 36.92% on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, with morning shows recording 23.07%, afternoon shows at 33.27%, evening shows at 46.08%, and night shows at 45.25%.

Leading the charge is RRR with Rs 223 crore, followed closely by Baahubali 2, which grossed over Rs 217 crore on its opening day. Within just five days of its worldwide release, Kalki 2898 AD has vaulted into the esteemed Rs 600 crore club, underscoring its robust box office performance.
Described as a fusion of Hindu epic Mahabharata and science fiction, this grand-scale 3D production is helmed by Nag Ashwin, renowned for his acclaimed 2018 period drama "Mahanati," and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. Set in the dystopian future of 2898 AD, the narrative revolves around a select group's quest to protect the unborn child, Kalki, from SUM-80, an experimental subject. Prabhas and Deepika Padukone portray Bhairava and Sumati, with Amitabh Bachchan in the role of Ashwatthama and Kamal Haasan as the formidable antagonist Yaskin, anticipated to have an expanded role in the sequel. Disha Patani also features prominently in the cast.
