In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to clean temples ahead of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony in Ayodhya, Kangana Ranaut was seen sweeping the floor of Ayodhya's Hanuman Garhi Temple on Sunday. The actress, who arrived in Ayodhya earlier, expressed her wish to motivate people to participate in the cleanliness drive. She mentioned that the city has been beautified, creating a festive atmosphere leading up to the inauguration day.

Speaking to ANI, she said, "I wish to motivate people to pick up the broom by participating in this cleanliness drive. The city has been beautified and has a festive look about it going into the inauguration day." Numerous images and video clips of Kangana Ranaut participating in the cleanliness drive at Ayodhya's Hanuman Garhi Temple went viral on social media. The actor, dressed in a red saree with her hair tied in a bun, was seen picking up the broom to clean the temple floor. She accessorised her look with heavy gold jewelry and wore a pair of black shades.

In the photos shared by the actress, she is seen meeting the spiritual leader Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Swami Rambhadracharya and participating in a yajna. Kangana expressed her privilege in meeting Swami Rambhadracharya and receiving his blessings, emphasising the divine atmosphere in Ayodhya as it prepares to welcome Lord Ram. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, "Come, my Lord. Today, I had the privilege of meeting the venerable Shri Rambhadracharya Ji and received his blessings. I participated in the scholarly collective Hanuman Ji Yajna organized by him. In the divine city of Ayodhya, everything is imbued with the spirit of Shri Ram's welcome. Tomorrow, the kings of Ayodhya are returning home after a long exile in the forest. Come, my Lord, come, my Lord."
