Kangana Ranaut, known for her candid and bold statements, recently made a shocking allegation about "popular film personalities" in Bollywood. In a post on her Instagram story, Kangana claimed that some individuals in the industry use the dark web to hack into people's communications apps like WhatsApp and emails.

The actress praised a recent move where phone numbers would be displayed along with registered names when making phone calls, suggesting that more action should be taken against the dark web. Kangana's post read, "Many popular film personalities are hooked on to it, not just consuming illegal stuff from there but also hacking into everyone’s communications like WhatsApp and mails. Many big names will be exposed if they crack them down."

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for her upcoming film 'Emergency', where she will portray the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Notably, Kangana is not only starring in the film but also directing it. Additionally, she has reportedly been cast in the Vishnu Manchu starrer 'Kannappa', where Prabhas will play Lord Shiva and Vishnu Manchu will portray his devotee, with Mohanlal making a cameo appearance. Kangana has also reunited with her 'Tanu Weds Manu' co-star R Madhavan for a pan-India psychological thriller directed by Vijay, who previously directed her in 'Thalaivii'.
