Renowned spiritual guru and founder of the Isha Foundation, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, underwent emergency brain surgery at Apollo Hospital in Delhi due to severe swelling and bleeding in his brain. Following the news of his health condition, Kangana Ranaut shared her sentiments on X, admitting she felt dizzy. Sharing a video of Sadhguru from the hospital, she mentioned that seeing Sadhguru in the ICU made her 'emotional and numb.'

Taking to her Twitter, Kangana Ranaut wrote, "Today when I saw Sadhguru ji lay on ICU bed I was suddenly hit by the mortal nature of his existence, before this it never occurred to me that he is bones, blood, flesh just like us. I felt God has collapsed, I felt earth has shifted, sky has abandoned me, I feel my head spinning, I can’t make sense of this reality and choose not to believe this but then suddenly I break down, today millions of people ( devotees) share my grief, I want to share my pain with you all, I am not able to contain it. He better be fine or sun won’t rise, earth won’t move. This moment hangs lifeless and still…."

Sharing a video of Sadhguru from hospital, the actress, in another post, expressed, "I am numb since I got to know about it from Radhe, Sadguru ji not only hosted massive Shivratri event in that excruciating pain but also refused to skip any meeting or summit… Get well soon, we are nothing without you @SadhguruJV #Sadhguru."

What happened to Sadhguru?

Sadhguru's team released a video on Wednesday showing the spiritual leader in a hospital bed, recuperating after undergoing surgery. They mentioned that Sadhguru had been grappling with a severe headache for the past four weeks but had persisted with his scheduled events, including the Mahashivratri celebrations. However, on March 15, he underwent an MRI scan, which revealed a significant brain hemorrhage. By March 17, Sadhguru's neurological condition had swiftly deteriorated, with a progressive decrease in his level of consciousness. Following the surgery, Sadhguru was successfully taken off the ventilator.

"On 17th morning, Sadhguru had to be rushed to hospital where it was discovered that he had life threatening swelling in the brain. After going through an emergency surgery on 17th, Sadhguru is now making steady progress and is recovering extremely well," his team informed.

Kangana Ranaut's work front

Kangana is gearing up to collaborate once again with actor R Madhavan for an upcoming pan-India psychological thriller, to be directed by Vijay. This highly anticipated psychological thriller is slated for a bilingual release in Hindi and Tamil, aiming to enthrall audiences. Also, Kangana will also be featuring in the upcoming period drama 'Emergency', which marks her directorial debut.
