Kangana Ranaut, the actress-turned-politician, recently called out the Bollywood industry for their reaction to a shocking incident at Chandigarh Airport. The incident involved Kangana being slapped by a CISF official, Kulwinder Kaur, who has since been suspended and is facing legal action.

Kangana was on her way to New Delhi after her victory in the Lok Sabha elections from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency. The altercation occurred during a security check at the airport. According to reports, the motive behind the attack is still unclear, but there are speculations that it might be connected to Kangana's past remarks on the farmers' protests in India, where she made controversial statements about Punjab women.

The Bollywood actress took to Instagram to express her disappointment with the film industry, accusing them of "celebrating" the attack on her and remaining silent about the incident. In her Instagram Story, she warned, "All eyes on Rafah Gang this can happen to you or your children as well. When you celebrate a terror attack on someone be ready for the day it comes back to you as well."

In another post, which she later deleted, Kangana wrote: "Dear film industry you all are either celebrating or are totally mum on the airport attack on me. Remember if tomorrow, if you’re walking disarmingly on some street of your country or anywhere else in the world, and some Israeli/Palestinian hits you or your children just because you tried to bring eyes to Rafah or stood up for Israeli hostages… then you will see I will be fighting for your rights of free speech."

The phrase 'All Eyes On Rafah' has gained traction on social media, following Israeli airstrikes in Rafah that killed 40 Palestinians and injured dozens. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Rashmika Mandanna, Sonakshi Sinha, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Triptii Dimri, Dia Mirza and Richa Chadha, have shown their support for Palestinians by sharing the phrase on their Instagram stories.

Following the incident, an inquiry committee of senior officers has been established to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack. As of now, the CISF has not released an official statement regarding the incident.

Kangana's vocal criticism of Bollywood and her active participation in political matters continue to keep her in the spotlight. This latest incident has once again brought her into the centre of a heated debate about freedom of speech and the responsibilities of public figures in India.
