Kanguva Box Office Collection Day 2: Suriya and Bobby Deol’s Tamil starrer is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The film has been receiving positive responses from the audience and the critics. It was released in theatres on November 14, 2024. Despite a blockbuster opening, Kanguva saw a major drop on its second day. This brings up the bigger question of whether this movie will continue performing well at the box office. Well, it is difficult to say something so early but we can hope that the movie will do wonders in the coming days.
Kanguva Box Office Collection Day 2
As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 9.00 crore on Day 2. The net collection of Kanguva stands at Rs 33.00 crore. It had 18.57 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres. The movie had 13.45 per cent in morning shows, 18.82 per cent in afternoon shows, 16.54 per cent in evening shows and 25.46 per cent in night shows.

If reports are to be believed, Siva’s directorial was made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. The movie was produced by KE Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati.
About Kanguva
The story revolves around a tribal warrior who fiercely save his people a millennium ago. The incident is however linked to the present generation with a shadow cop's perilous quest. The movie stars Suriya Sivakumar, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol, Aarash Shah, Karthik Sivakumar, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam and Kovai Sarala in key roles. Notably, the movie marks Bobby Deol and Disha Patani’s Tamil debut.
At a press conference ahead of the movie’s release, Siva talked about casting Bobby Deol in the film. He said, “I have been watching his films since childhood, like 'Gupt' (1997) and 'Soldier' (1998). I have been a big fan of his work. I saw a clip of him on Instagram. He was getting out of a car at the airport, and the kind of swag he carried inspired me (to cast him for 'Kanguva'). I was waiting to find my Udhiran, the character Bobby sir plays in the film.”
