Kannur Squad Box Office Collection: ‘Kannur Squad’ Box Office Collection: Mammootty is back with another promising banger as the actor teamed up with filmmaker Roby Varghese Raj for the film ‘Kannur Squad’ which was released amid great expectations. The film hit theatres on September 28 and opened to low numbers. The makers of the film shared the first poster a month ago, with the release of the trailer a couple of weeks ago which raised the expectations of the public with its mysterious and intense aura.

‘KannurSquad’ raked Rs 2.00 Crore on Day 1 and is showing a low prediction chain. During the first poster unveil of the film, Mammootty was seen carrying an intense look and shared the first look on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “Presenting The First Look Poster of @kannursquad Directed by Roby Varghese Raj & Produced by Mammootty Kampany."

The film is an investigative thriller, the filmmaker's debut film. The screenplay of ‘Kannu Squad’ is crafted by Muhammad Shafi and Rony David Raj. ‘Kannur Squad’ is produced by Mammootty and is presented by his son-actor Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films Private Limited.

Talking about the actor's professional front, Mammootty is currently basking in the success of his recent release 'Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam.' It is available on Netflix in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. He will next be seen in the family drama 'Kaathal: The Core' marking his first time collaborating with actress Jyothika, and has ‘Bilal’ in the pipeline.
