Some of the biggest celebrities in the Television and film industry like Kapil Sharma, Sugandha Mishra, Rajpal Yadav and Remo D’Souza have reportedly received threats from Pakistan via email. As reported by Free Press Journal, the stars received an email from a person named Bishnu, who threatened and also claimed that he had been monitoring their actions. In the email, the man also stated that ‘it is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass'. The sender also shared that if the demands are not met in the given time frame then it will lead to dangerous consequences.
The email read, “We are watching your recent actions closely. We believe it is necessary to bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a public stunt or an attempt to harass you. We request that you take this message seriously and maintain confidentiality.” The sender further said that if his demand is not met in eight hours then it can lead to dangerous consequences. The email sender's details have not been disclosed yet.
Rajpal Yadav’s wife Radha filed a complaint against the unknown person. The Amboli police filed the case under the section of Section 351(3) of the BNS, as reported by IANS. Sugandha Mishra and Remo D’Souza also filed a complaint. The celebrities have not issued an official statement on it yet.
Kapil Sharma is known for his work in popular shows like The Kapil Sharma Show and Comedy Nights with Kapil. The star recently starred in The Great Indian Kapil Show which is streaming on Netflix. He was also last seen in the 2023 movie Zwigato. The film stars Shahana Goswami, Sayani Gupta, B M Baisali, Neelambari Bhattacharya and Swanand Kirkire in key roles. The movie is streaming on Prime Video. Kapil Sharma also worked in movies like Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Firangik and Crew.
