On the work front, Kapil Sharma is currently working on The Great Indian Kapil Show, which is streaming on Netflix every Saturday. The show led to a major comeback of Kapil Sharma with Sunil Grover after six years of their controversial fight. Ahead of the show’s premiere, Sunil Grover stated that his fight with Kapil was a publicity stunt for Netflix. As it didn’t come to India at that time, Netflix called them for ideas of collaboration. Kapil suggested during the meeting that the duo could not work together for some time as Sunil had some commitments to fulfill.

Sunil also called the reunion with Kapil a homecoming as he loves to work with the entire team of The Kapil Sharma Show. Coming back to Kapil, he was last seen in the movie Crew which stars Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
