'Kill' is all set to hit the theatres in India after impressing the critics and the audiences at film festivals internationally. Starring Lakshay and Raghav Juyal in the lead roles, the movie is set to India's most violent film ever made and focuses on commandos facing off ruthless bandits on a train to New Delhi. The movie will now be remade in English and will be produced by 'John Wick' director Chad Stahelski.
Chad Stahelski said in a statement, "’Kill’ is one of the most vivid, wild, and creative action movies I’ve seen recently. Nikhil delivers relentless action sequences that need to be seen by as wide an audience as possible. It’s exciting to be developing an English-language version — we have big shoes to fill and I’m looking forward to working with Nikhil, Karan, Apoorva, Guneet, and Achin to achieve that.”

Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor & Achin Jain further said in a joint statement, "When we made ‘Kill’ with Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, we dreamed of global love, and seeing North American theaters chant ‘Kill! Kill! Kill!’ was like seeing that vision come alive. This announcement coming before the original film’s release is unprecedented and a big win for Indian cinema. We are truly honored.”
'Kill' also stars Tanya Maniktala in the lead role. The movie is produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga and will release in theatres on July 5.
On the work front, Karan Johar earlier talked about 'Student Of The Year 3'. He said at the Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF), "Reema Maya will be directing the digital version of Student of the Year. But it will be her way and definitely not mine because if I’ll enter Reema Maya’s world, then I will make it more of an illusion, which is what her name means. I just wanted it to be her voice. She made it her own series.”
Karan Johar last directed 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', which starred Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles.
Lakshay will next star in 'Bedhadak' alongside Shanaya Kapoor and Gurfateh Pirzada.
