Kareena Kapoor is one of the most popular actresses in India and has always impressed the audience with her amazing performance. Her iconic roles in several blockbuster movies always take her fans on a nostalgic trip. She became a part of a social media trend recently after the song 'San Sanana' from the movie 'Asoka' went viral. Netizens started calling it the 'Asoka' trend and created different make-up looks. Amid the new craze, fans also praise Kareena's iconic and beautiful look from 'Asoka'.

Kareena has finally reacted to the viral 'Asoka' trend and called it iconic. In an interview with Grazia India, she said, "I think it’s amazing because 20 years later, it truly is iconic. It was iconic then when we were actually doing it. Making the tattoos, making the eyes. At that time we just, we never thought. We knew that this would be, in some way, pathbreaking even then."

She added, "We wanted her to have something slightly more edgy and different. There was no makeup actually on my face, there were just designs around my eyes and not a drop of makeup. I don’t know if people will believe that. 22 years old and just tattooed all over my face, which was like super cool."

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will next star in 'Singham Again' alongside Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh.

She will be seen in the movie 'The Buckingham Murders', directed by ace filmmaker Hansal Mehta. The movie also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.

The official synopsis of 'The Buckingham Murders' reads, “Fresh wounds are reopened when Jasmeet Bhamra, a cop and single mother who recently lost her child in a shooting spree, transfers to High Wycombe and is assigned the case of a missing child. Director Hansal Mehta explores themes of trauma, closure and the immigrant experience with his signature sensitivity in this atmospheric thriller, featuring a career-best performance by Kapoor.”

It is written by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker and produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films alongside Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Kareena was recently seen in 'Crew' along with Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The movie also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in pivotal roles and became a hit at the box office. 'Crew' revolves around three women working in the cabin crew and how their lives turn upside down after they get caught up in some unwarranted situations.
