Kareena Kapoor Khan recently talked about her approach to fitness and food. The actress shared her thoughts on Botox and other skin treatments. Kareena stated that she would rather work out and eat healthy food than undergo Botox or any other such treatments. The 44-year-old actress feels age is just a number and she always wants to be fit throughout her life. Kareena recently attended the launch event of her nutritionist Rutuja Diwekar's recent book, The Commonsense Diet, in Mumbai. At the event, the actress opened up about her healthy lifestyle and eating habits.

Kareena Kapoor said, “For that, I need to eat right with her (nutritionist Rutuja Diwekar) guidance. That's what, for me, ageing and life are. I love it, I'm embracing it, but I'm taking all these particular things, like eating ghee, eating khichdi, doing a little bit of weight training for muscle strength, walking a little, my Surya Namaskars, doing my little work on my own rather than skin treatments and botox.”

She added, “Age is just a number. I want to always be fit to take on whatever old age brings. I want to be able to do what I have to do, whether I have to go to set at the age of 70, 75. I want to keep working all my life. I want to be able to bend to pick up my grandchildren. So for that, I need to eat right with her (Rutuja Diwekar's) guidance.”

The actress further added, “My comfort food, like if I don’t eat khichdi for two or three days, I actually start craving it! I will message her (Rujuta) and say there is no khichdi in the house, I can’t sleep if I don’t eat khichdi. Like you said that you need a drink, but honestly, I can’t survive without khichdi!”

Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The 2026 Kannada language movie also stars Yash, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Sai Pallavi, Nayanthara and Samyuktha Menon in key roles.
