Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met is one of the most loved movies of all time. There are several reels and clips from the film are being shared on social media. Kareena Kapoor Khan’s role Geet is still a favourite character for many people in the country including several top actresses of Bollywood. Recently, the star grooved in the hit song Yeh Ishq Haaye from the movie at an event. Notably, Kareena was in Abu Dhabi for the inauguration of a jewellery store.

Earlier this year, Imtiaz Ali talked about Jab We Met 2. He told News18, “Why have a sequel to Jab We Met (laughs)? If people want to keep relishing the film, they can keep watching the first one! There has to be a story and a reason to make Jab We Met 2. But let’s see if it happens. Never say never!”
He also shared the reason behind not being with the actor after the movie. In the same interview, Imtiaz said “Whenever you work with an actor, there’s also a responsibility to not do anything just for the sake of it. The idea is to reunite only when there’s a better or a completely different project compared to what you’ve done before. Kareena and I are so fond of working with each other but we’ve never had the chance to work again till date because there was nothing different and unique enough or better than what we’ve done before. It has to be something interesting, otherwise, it’s useless. We don’t want to dull the memory of Jab We Met. If you’ve had a great experience working with an actor, the next experience should also be good, otherwise there’s no point. I look at it that way.”
On the work front, Kareena will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. The movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in key roles. It will be released on 15th August this year.
