Kareena Kapoor Khan led The Buckingham Murders is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Helmed by renowned filmmaker Hansal Mehta, the movie will showcase Kareena in a different role as she plays the role of a detective. The actor and director duo announced the news of the teaser release date and said that it will be out on 20th August. They also confirmed that the film will be released in theatres on 13th September and not on any OTT platforms. As per reports, the movie has taken the empty slot by Sara Ali Khan’s Metro In Dino. 

Kareena Kapoor took her Instagram handle and shared the poster of the movie. She wrote, “See you tomorrow”. As soon as Kareena shared the news on Instagram, fans showcased their excitement. A user said, “Omg! The Buckingham Murders will mark the first collaboration of Hansal Mehta and Kareena Kapoor together. The movie also stars Ranveer Brar, Rukku Nahar, Ash Tandon, Keith Allen, Daniel Eghan, Stuart Whelan, Lee Nicholas Harris and Ruchika Jain in prominent roles. The film was screened at the BFI London Film Festival 2023 and the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.
