Kartik Aaryan, currently riding high on the success of his latest film, Chandu Champion, recently made an appearance at the finale of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The episode featured a special guest: Kartik's mother, Dr Mala Tiwari, who brought both humour and heartfelt moments to the stage.

Kartik Aaryan is earning accolades for his compelling portrayal of Murlikant Petkar, a Paralympic gold medalist, in Kabir Khan's Chandu Champion. The film, co-produced by Kabir Khan Films and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, was released on June 14 and has been well-received by audiences.

The show's promo, shared on Instagram, captured Kartik's nerves as he faced his mother on the popular comedy platform. "I was never as nervous as I am today," he admitted, to which Mala Tiwari responded with, "I will speak nothing but the truth." Kapil Sharma added his trademark humour, joking about how much Dr Mala might spy on her son and husband.

One of the episode's highlights was when Dr. Mala Tiwari turned matchmaker, interviewing potential matches for Kartik from the audience. When a doctor from the audience expressed interest, Kartik couldn't help but blush, adding to the episode's light-hearted atmosphere.

Following Chandu Champion, Kartik is set to star in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee. He will reprise his role as Ruhaan Randhawa, aka Rooh Baba, from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The new instalment also features Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri and is slated for a Diwali 2024 release.

The finale of The Great Indian Kapil Show featuring Kartik and his mother will premiere on Netflix on June 21 at 9 PM.
