The event marked a significant moment as the two iconic artists reconnected after their memorable first meeting at Coachella in 2019.

During their initial encounter, Jennie had openly declared Billie her "crush" on Instagram, solidifying a sweet bond between them. Five years later, their friendship remains strong, as seen in their affectionate reunion in Seoul. Fans couldn't help but draw parallels between a recent photo of the duo and their famous 2019 Coachella snap. The similarities in their hugs and hand placements were striking, triggering a wave of nostalgia among their admirers.

A Kpop fan on Twitter expressed this sentiment perfectly: “Jennie and Billie hugs after five years, same position and same hands placement, so soft for this.”

Their reunion wasn't just about reminiscing; it was also filled with fun and heartfelt interactions.
