Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion has received appreciation from the audience, critics as well as from the industry people. After Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi praised the film, Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were highly impressed by Kartik’s performance. Both the actors also praised the direction of Kabir Khan and called him an incredible storyteller. Katrina also shared that she got very emotional while watching Chandu Champion. Whereas Vicky saluted Murlikant Petkar and called him a true champion. 

Katrina took to her Instagram story and wrote, “Kabirrrrr just loved the film, you are such beautiful storyteller, you brought such an incredible inspiring story to life, was so emotional to see the story and how beautifully you have made this film, and such an outstanding performance by Kartik Aaryan. All The Best Kabir Khan.”

Jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion released in theatres on 14th June. Earlier, Kartik shared his massive transformational journey on Instagram. He wrote, “From 39 % body fat to 7 % body fat !! From being an ‘insomniac’ to turning into a ‘fitness enthusiast’, it’s surely a journey of one and half years to remember for me. The life of the living legend Mr Murlikant Petkar, not only made me a stronger human being but also, further installed the belief that if you can dream it, then you can achieve it... nothing is impossible. Pehle mummy kehti thi, ‘beta gym jao’ lekin aaj kal haalaat aise hain ki unhe call karke bolna padta hai, ‘beta gym se vapas aa jao.”

Kartik Aaryan will be next seen in Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The movie also stars Vidya Balan, and Rajpal Yadav in significant roles. The shooting of the film is currently underway.
