Rashmika Mandana recently garnered attention following the emergence of her deepfake video online. This controversial video not only stirred up a significant amount of debate but also elicited responses from various industry luminaries who supported the 'Pushpa' actress. Now, Keerthy Suresh and Shanthnu took to their respective social media handles to address the matter.

Keerthy Suresh took to Platform X and wrote, "The deep-fake video that’s going around is scary. I really wish the person who had done this could have rather used that time to do something productive and not put the people involved, into misery. I don’t understand if technology for us today is a boon or a bane. Let’s use this platform widely to only spread love, positivity, awareness, and information and not nonsense. God save mankind."

Shanthnu Bhagyaraj wrote, "The deep fake video on @iamRashmika is horrifically scary... hope the culprit is caught and punished ! Such technology is becoming more of a bane to us & our future generations. If proper measures aren’t taken, this could happen to anyone in our families too... (sic)."

After Rashmika's video surfaced on the internet, she took to social media and wrote, "I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me, but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused. Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends and well wishers who are my protection and support system. But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I ever tackle this. We need to address this as a community and with urgency before more of us are affected by such identity theft."
