Kesari 2 FIRST Review: Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan starrer historical courtroom drama is based on the untold side of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Ahead of the film’s release on April 18, Telugu superstar Rana Daggubati reviewed the film and made an important announcement. The actor called it an important film that needs to be watched across languages. The star also stated that he along with Suresh Productions, will bring Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh to the Telugu-speaking audience as well. Daggubati further emphasised the importance of watching the film and called it a ‘must-watch’. Here is what he said.

Rana Daggubati shared a poster of the film and wrote on Instagram, “Just watched an incredible historical courtroom drama — Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. Coming back to Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, the story focuses on a lawyer and former INC president, C Sankaran Nair, who fought for the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The movie stars Akshay Kumar as Advocate Sankaran Nair, R Madhavan as Advocate Neville McKinley, Ananya Panday as Dilreet Gill, Regina Cassandra as Palat Kunhimalu Amma (Sankaran Nair's wife), Simon Paisley Day as General Reginald Dyer and Steven Hartley as Judge McArdie. The film has been written and directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. The movie has been produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari.
