Kesari Chapter 2 Advance Booking Report: Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday starrer historical courtroom drama is set to release in theatres on April 18. The film has been getting positive responses from the early screenings that took place in different cities. Based on the untold side of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre, Kesari Chapter 2 will showcase lawyer C Sankaran Nair’s fight for justice and the truth behind the incident. The movie is just two days away from release and seeing the current advance booking report, the film is expected to do wonders on day 1.

As per Sacnilk, the movie had a gross of Rs 7.75 lakhs with 2582 ticket sales. The report suggests that with the block seats included, Kesari Chapter earned Rs 88.48 lakhs until now.

The movie is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. This revolves around the lawyer C. Sankaran Nair, who found the truth behind the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in the leading roles.
