Kim will share the screen with Emma Roberts in the upcoming 12th season of the show which is based on a forthcoming book titled Delicate Condition. The book is set to be released in August and is advertised online as a thrilling novel that revolves around a woman who believes that a mysterious figure is determined to prevent her from getting pregnant. The author, Andrea Bartz, describes it as a modern feminist take on the classic story of Rosemary's Baby.

Kardashian, 42, will assume a role specifically written with her in mind, the entertainment portal further reported. In a statement, Murphy revealed that Halley Feiffer, a writer for American Horror Story, has created a unique and terrifying role specifically for Kim in the upcoming season. Describing the season as ambitious yet fun, he said, "a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done."

According to reports, Murphy, who has been friends with Kim Kardashian for a long time, was reportedly impressed with her hosting skills on the 2021 show, The Saturday Live. The two have been in discussions about the possibility of Kim's scripted television debut since the summer of 2021. Kim herself recently hinted at a new professional collaboration with a cryptic post on her Instagram account.

After rising to fame as a pop culture phenomenon during her 14-year stint on the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which concluded in 2021, Kim Kardashian and her extended family now appear on The Kardashians on Hulu. It's worth noting that the FX network is owned by Walt Disney Co.
